Caitlin Rourk Announces Run for Texas’ 10th Congressional District
TX-10 is an open seat after the incumbent Michael McCaul’s retirement. It spans from Houston’s northwest suburbs to northern Austin.
AUSTIN, TX – Today, Army veteran, business leader, and working mom, Caitlin Rourk, announced she will run for Texas’ 10th Congressional District.
“The newly drawn 10th District is my home, where I’m raising my children and working to make my community better for working families like my own,” said Rourk. “And like so many across Central Texas, families here are dealing with higher costs, a broken health care system, and politicians more focused on scoring political points in Washington than delivering results. I’m running for Congress to return the job to what it should be: solving problems, serving, and working hard for the people of Central Texas.”
Rourk’s experience spans military service, public policy, and the private sector, giving her a track record of accountability, problem-solving, and results-driven, service-minded leadership. Her campaign is grounded in delivering economic security, affordable healthcare, and common-sense policies that help people get ahead.
With no incumbent running, Texas’ open 10th Congressional District is an opportunity to flip a U.S. House seat and send a clear message that Texans are ready for new leadership. The district includes suburbs around Austin through College Station/Bryan and over to the greater Houston area.
